Did you feel you accomplished all the objectives listed on the student syllabus/outline for each lesson? If not, please let us know where we fell short.

I think I accomplished all the objectives. They were very clear and filling in the notes along with each video helped me pay attention.

Would you recommend this course to a friend or colleague? Why or why not?

I think I would. I think the content is good and I really liked a lot of the set-up/delivery. I liked the reward of checking off lessons completed and earning badges. I committed to this course when I printed off the beginning certificate (and managed to come back to it even when life got a little busy there for a while). The videos were mostly short and quick which I appreciated and I liked how you broke up everything (there almost always seemed to be something new or different, the assignments were different, etc.)

What is the number one takeaway from this course that you think will make a difference in your email copywriting?

I think the ideas of mirroring, leading by example, telling a good story will all make a difference. I also think it will be easier to find subject lines and I have some better ideas of how to write a sales pitch. Being goal oriented (what do I want them to do?). Also how to use my automatic messages (welcome, support, etc.)

What do you wish you had learned or practiced that you didn’t? What was missing?

I wish I had gotten a little feedback on assignments. Maybe you couldn't do that for 1000's of students in an evergreen funnel, but it felt like I could cheat my way through the assignments very easily since no one cared. And if you can't check up on assignments, maybe you have some kind of group that coaches each other or something.

Was there something in the course that you didn’t like? What could we do differently to make this a better learning experience?

Honestly, I'm feeling a little suckered. I feel like it was sold as very urgent and as a beta group so I might get extra attention, but I don't feel like I got any attention and have a sneaking suspicion that this is an evergreen program that I totally fell for. I think maybe the price is too high. I think I would've felt better about my purchase if it had been closer to $500 instead of $1000 or actually had some interaction/coaching with you for the price. Also, I totally fell off the wagon and was lying in the ditch and no one came to check on me except one or two automated emails. And they didn't follow up and bug me or incentivize me to come back, really. I wanted to see it through so I did, but not because I felt like you cared about me.
I also feel like you might've studied with Marisa Murgatroyd because I recognize a lot of the elements of the class (gamification, short clear objectives, etc). But I think she does a better job when people fall off the wagon.
